Client Solutions Consultant and Relationship Manager

What are we looking for?

We're seeking a curious, intelligent, ninja problem solver who will go the extra mile to create solutions for and delight our prospective and current enterprise clients.

You have a background and work experience in the legal industry or as a consultant — former consultants and law firm associates strongly preferred -- as well as a strong desire to change how business is conducted in the legal industry.

You stay up to date on industry research and trends and build relationships by being organized, knowledgeable, and taking an interest in prospects’ and clients’ business and success.

You are mission-driven and excited to be a key part of fueling the growth of a scaling company, work within our collaborative culture and change the way that people work.

What you’ll do:

  • Set ambitious goal and be proactive with your team and customers
  • Figure out how to accomplish goals and get stuff done with determination and perseverance —through general roadblocks and what others claim can’t be done
  • Delight customers by solving their problems with intelligence, knowledge, empathy, transparency and authenticity
  • Have comprehensive knowledge and stay on the cutting edge of legal industry trends— specifically surrounding legal operations, alternative fee arrangements and legal budgets, staffing solutions, lean law and use of technology.
  • Consult with prospective and current large enterprise clients to understand their pain points and goals and then create customized solutions based on your industry and product knowledge
  • Create presentations and proposals and run meetings with decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Manage interested clients from initial consult to close with organized, disciplined and strategic follow up
  • Manage the implementation, onboarding, and training of client teams on our SaaS product
  • Manage ongoing client relationships
  • Help to build and refine client engagement and relationship management processes
  • Daily use of a variety of technology products including the Hire an Esquire platform, google apps, slack, etc.


  • Experience as an associate level attorney, legal operations professional or consultant strongly preferred
  • Tenacity and ability to follow through consistently with a long and complex decision-making and procurement processes
  • Strong skills in putting together polished presentations and specifically tailored RFPs when necessary
  • Collaborative spirit and demonstrated proactivity
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt based on the feelings of others
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • An active listener who gives full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made and asking questions as appropriate
  • A desire to establish and maintain personally challenging achievement goals and exerting effort toward mastering tasks
  • Extremely organized and methodical in work processes
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and go outside of your job description when necessary
